The challenge in this project was to take a dilapidated 5.000 sf concrete block structure built in increments and turn it into modern, attractive office space. The building is unified aesthetically with a simple palette of materials - brick, stucco, storefront glazing, and long wooden overhangs - that are modern and hark back to the 1950's origins of the building.
Sustainable design features of the project include re-use of existing structure, high efficiency HVAC systems, low-VOC paints, and high performance storefront glazing.
